The purpose of the New England Association of RC&D Areas, Inc. is to enhance the quality and efficiency of each RC&D Area in the Six New England States. To this end the Corporation will coordinate,and disseminate information relative to the interests and accomplishments of all RC&D Areas in New England. Support and Cooperate with Educational organizations involved in RC&D endeavors. Cooperate with private and public entities concerned with conservation and developement of New England Resources. Serve as liaison to provide information about specific RC&D projects that might benefit other participants. Encourage and support a strong national Resource Conservation and Development Program and its application in New England.
The immediate preceding "purpose" shall be implemented subject to limitations that no part of the assets of the Corporation may, at any time,be used for any activity not permitted to be conducted or carried on by any organization (i)exempt from taxation under(501)(c)(3) |
